Not sure why he's making a big deal about the pilot controlling the helo, the whole purpose of a CO-PILOT is to assist in cockpit workload, AND to fly the aircraft in the event the pilot is incapacitated. In fact, co-pilots are regular pilots, and fly the aircraft on a regular basis to maintain proficiency. Generally have less responsibility, thus less pay/rank than the pilot due to experience levels being different.

What a lad! As far as I know, being hit by a high speed bullet doesn't cause pain initially, it's the blood that gives it away. The pilot must have been terrified at what part of his head had been hit initially, helmet or not, feeling blood run down your face after a direct bullet hit, is something I can't even comprehend in itself. The fact that pilot keeps his composure and puts the souls on board he and co pilot are in charge of as his sole priority in getting the chopper down in the most selfless way poss is a testament to the men and women in the forces, both our British Army as our US Army allies. Sad really, the current situation is a war carried out by a dictator who has a completely undisciplined army, raping and pillaging in a way that makes medieval warfare seem civilised. This isn't an exaggeration either if the footage and reports are genuine.

And for those that wonder, Bravo November has finally been retired in March 2022
